Sump Pumps in Winchester
Heavy rain and spring thaws push groundwater up around foundations all over the valley. If your basement takes on water, the pump and the discharge line both need to be right.
Most pumps fail in a storm
A sump pump sits quiet for months, then runs nonstop when the ground is soaked. That is when a worn switch sticks or an old motor quits. If yours is getting old, replacing it on a dry day costs far less than finding out in a downpour.

Sump Pump Installation and Repair questions
- How long does a sump pump last?
Years, not forever. Age, how often it runs and what is in the pit all wear it down. If yours is old, replace it before a storm finds out for you.
- Can you fix my sump pump or does it need replacing?
Sometimes it is only the float switch or the check valve. We test it and tell you which before any work starts.
